Also referred to as a I/O time out. If you are receiving this message it would normally indicate that a request for confrimation/action by the user (i.e. a manual paper feed) has not be fulfilled within a certain amount of time.First of all check the display panel/screen for media request. Otherwise check that the USB or I/O cable is inserted fully into both the printer and your computer.
If the error remains please contact HP technical support if the machine is in warranty or a technician if the warranty has expired.
