HP LaserJet Error 22 – I/O Configuration

If you are receiving this message there is a communication error between the printer and the computer:
- USB or I/O port on the computer may be defective. Try inserting into another port if one is available.
- USB or I/O cable may be damaged. Try another cable.
- Ensure that the computer is turned on and the cable is firmly inserted at both ends.
- I/O port on printer is probally damaged and the formatter may need replacing. Please contact HP technical support if the machine is in warranty or a technician if the warranty has expired.
