Warhammer 40,000 - Combat Patrol: Iron Warriors Citadel Miniatures

The Iron Warriors rely on relentless, overwhelming firepower to crush their enemies. Commanded by Warpsmiths – specialists in dark, corrupted machinery – they advance with slow, deliberate menace. Havocs deliver punishing heavy weapon fire, Chaos Terminators push forward through incoming attacks to engage at close range, and Legionaries draw on centuries of battlefield experience to secure objectives and eliminate opposition.

This box set offers a strong starting point for a new Iron Warriors-themed Chaos Space Marines force, or an effective way to expand an existing army while saving compared to buying each kit separately. At its core is a Warpsmith, a versatile leader capable in both ranged and melee combat. Supporting him are a durable Chaos Terminator Squad for breaking enemy lines, Havocs equipped to deal with heavily armoured targets, and Legionaries tasked with capturing and holding ground. Together, these 21 multipart plastic miniatures form a complete force suitable for Combat Patrol games in Warhammer 40,000, with rules available as a free download from the Warhammer Community website.

The set includes 1 Warpsmith, 5 Havocs, 5 Chaos Terminators, and 10 Legionaries. Each unit offers a wide range of customisation options. The Warpsmith can be equipped with either a power axe or a thunder hammer and includes a choice of helmeted or bare head. Havocs come with a selection of heavy weapons, including autocannons, heavy bolters, lascannons, missile launchers, and a reaper chaincannon, while the champion can be armed with various special weapons and melee options.

Chaos Terminators are similarly flexible, with multiple combi-weapons and melee upgrades such as power fists, a chainfist, and lightning claws, alongside additional options like a heavy flamer or reaper autocannon. The Legionaries provide further variety, with interchangeable weapons including bolters, pistols, chainswords, and special or heavy weapons, as well as multiple head and shoulder pad options. Their Aspiring Champion also has several weapon choices to tailor the squad’s role.

An Iron Warriors upgrade frame is included, featuring themed heads, weapons, and shoulder pads designed to give the Legionaries and Havocs a distinctive Iron Warriors appearance. The box contains 359 plastic components, along with the appropriate bases, two Chaos Space Marines Infantry transfer sheets, and a construction guide. Each transfer sheet includes 569 detailed waterslide decals covering a variety of Chaos Legions and markings.
