The Ubiquiti Instant Gigabit Passive PoE 48V to 24V Converter provides a reliable solution for transforming passive PoE devices into 802.3af-compliant products. By converting 48V input power to 24V output, this converter allows for seamless integration with auto-sensing 802.3af PoE switches, enabling convenient remote power control and cycling of connected devices. Designed for efficiency, the converter facilitates longer cable runs by allowing power to be carried at a higher voltage.
It also includes an additional layer of protection with ±15kV of Ethernet isolation to help reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge or surge damage to your equipment. This device is compatible with a wide range of Ubiquiti products, including various airMAX and UniFi devices that utilise Gigabit or 100 Mbps Ethernet ports.
