The Ubiquiti EdgeMAX EdgeRouter 4-Port Router (ER-4) is a high-performance, compact, and affordable routing solution that delivers carrier-class reliability alongside enterprise-level features. 

Designed to meet the demanding needs of both Carrier-Grade and Enterprise networks, the EdgeRouter 4 offers a 50% increase in performance compared to the EdgeRouter Pro.

This powerful router features three Gigabit RJ45 routing ports and one Gigabit SFP port for fibre connectivity, providing versatile options for network expansion. It boasts impressive routing capabilities, handling up to 3.4 million packets per second (for 64-byte packets) and achieving a line rate of 4 Gbps (for packets 128 bytes or larger). 

The ER-4 operates silently with a fan-less design and is housed in a durable metal case. Powered by the intuitive EdgeOS graphical interface, it allows for easy configuration of routing, security, and management features, while an integrated CLI offers advanced users direct access and familiar commands.
