The Swordfish 1000XC Cross Cut Shredder is a robust and quick shredder, offering high-security document destruction and convenient features suitable for regular use in a home or small office.
This shredder handles up to 10 sheets of 70gsm paper at a time through its 220mm throat width. It converts documents into secure 4-39mm cross-cut pieces, meeting the stringent P-4 security level (recommended for sensitive data). It operates at a quick speed of 2 metres per minute, enabling it to shred approximately 360 sheets in an hour.
Key features include an infra-red start/stop control for automated operation and a reverse function to easily clear paper jams. The shredder is highly portable with castors and includes a large 20-litre pull-out bin for simple and clean emptying. It is also capable of shredding credit cards and small staples.
