The StarTech USB-C Multiport Adapter is a portable, 4K 60Hz mini travel dock designed to instantly turn a USB-C, USB4, or Thunderbolt 3/4 laptop into a functional workstation, offering high-resolution video and power passthrough.
This compact, bus-powered adapter supports DP 1.4 Alt Mode and features one HDMI 2.0 port capable of outputting 4K 60Hz (4096 x 2160p) video with HDR10 support. It includes a 3-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) hub with three USB Type-A ports. A dedicated USB-C port supports 100W Power Delivery 3.0 passthrough to charge the host laptop, and also serves as a USB 2.0 data port when no power source is connected. Network reliability is ensured via a Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) port with support for PXE Boot and WoL.
The adapter features an extra-long 12-inch (30cm) attached cable for flexible setup and includes access to the StarTech.com Connectivity Tools application for enhanced security and management. It is universally compatible with Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, iPadOS, Android, and Linux host devices.
