The StarTech DS52000 is an unmanaged 5-port multi-gigabit Ethernet switch designed to dramatically boost network bandwidth using existing Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a cabling, ideal for high-bandwidth applications in SoHo environments.

This unmanaged switch features five 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet ports which support multi-speed operation (10/100/1000/2500 Mbps) with a switching capacity of 2.5 Gbit/s. It requires no setup thanks to auto-negotiation, which automatically determines the best speed for connected devices. 

The switch is highly flexible for deployment, featuring a compact, all-metal, fanless housing that uses minimal space on a desk and includes a kit for wall mounting. It is energy-efficient (IEEE 802.3az) and silent, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments. 

Additional features include 9K Jumbo frame support, a K-slot for enhanced security, and clear front-facing diagnostic LEDs.
