The StarTech ET90110SM302 is a 10/100 Mbps Single Mode Fibre Media Converter designed to extend Ethernet network connections over long distances using fibre optic cabling. 

This device effectively bridges the gap between traditional copper-based Ethernet (10/100Base-T) and fibre optic networks (100Base-FX).
