PXVH Display adjustment
I was trying to get an answer to this previously: I have a Pixl 24 monitor connected to my Windows 11 PC. I have run it on the default settings since new. But somehow I now seem to have mistakenly changed the scaling? Text on the screen seems squashed in from the sides and there is now a thick black border. I assumed that this could be corrected by using the controls on the screen. However the only ones that I can find are the 5 push click buttons at the bottom corner. One toggles the display between HDMI and VGA otherwise they seem to have little effect. What is missing are the various menu buttons that are shown in the user guide. What must I do to get them to appear on screen and what command would I use to control the scaling?. Thanks Iain Fergusson
It sounds like the display scaling may have been changed through the Windows 11 display settings rather than the monitor itself. Please try the following: Right-click on your desktop and select Display settings. Check that the Display resolution is set to the monitor’s recommended/native resolution. Check Scale and set this back to the recommended setting (usually 100% for a standard monitor). The monitor controls are accessed using the buttons underneath the screen. Try pressing the menu button (rather than just the input/source button) to bring up the on-screen display (OSD) menu. From there, you should be able to access picture settings, including aspect ratio/scaling options if available. If the issue continues, please check that you are using the correct input source and cable connection, and that the graphics settings on your PC have not been altered.
