The HYTE KEEB TKL is a premium tenkeyless mechanical keyboard designed to blend high-end enthusiast features with a striking digital aesthetic. Built with a translucent crystal bubble polycarbonate case, the keyboard showcases a vibrant 155-pixel qRGB array that provides immersive, high-fidelity backlighting.
The tenkeyless (TKL) layout removes the traditional number pad to save desk space, providing more room for mouse movement while retaining all core functionality for professional work. To ensure a superior typing feel, the KEEB utilizes a gasket-mounted design, which suspends the sandblasted, anodised aluminium plate to provide a gentle bounce and softened impact with every keystroke.
Performance is driven by the HYTE Fluffy Lavender linear switches, which come pre-lubed with Krytox 205g0 for a smooth, scratch-free feel. These switches feature a light 36-gram actuation force and a short 1.5mm actuation distance, making them exceptionally fast and responsive for gaming.
The attention to detail extends to the Durock V2 screw-in stabilisers, which are also professionally lubed to eliminate rattle and ticking. For tactile control, the keyboard is equipped with dual magnetic rollers for volume and brightness, alongside unique low-profile "flappy-paddle" media keys. The north-facing 5-pin hot-swap PCB ensures that users can easily swap out switches to customise their typing experience without soldering.
