Product Description:

This valuepack contains one each of our remanufactured HP 62XL (C2P05AE and C2P07AE) ink cartridges. When producing these refilled HP 62XL ink cartridges our manufacturers have taken great care to ensure optimum print quality is conserved.

This is done by keeping all mechanical parts from inside of the HP 62XL cartridges including the Hewlett Packard print heads. The sponges within the remanufactured HP 62XL cartridges are then replaced and injected with a high quality compatible black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink designed to offer a vibrancy comparable with the original.

The resulting cartridges offer comparable print quality and colours that could easily be taken to be those produced by an original HP 62XL ink cartridge.

HP 5740 Ive tried another compatible cartridge type from elsewhere, but printer would not recognise the new cartridges. ? remanufactured meaning I assume this means reused but original hp cartridges but your own inks not hp if so how can I be sure of comparable results...I do not want to compromise on print quality1: Accepted AnswerI can confirm that remanufactured cartridges are indeed refilled Hewlett Packard originals. As our manufacturers have used empty HP originals when producing these ink cartridges, they retain as much of the Hewlett Packard print quality as possible. Whilst the quality of print may not be exactly that of an original, each remanufactured HP unit has been tested after refilling to ensure a great quality of print.

Thank you1: Accepted AnswerThe remanufactured cartridges are the XL version, these may be dearer than the original standard capacity cartridges but will be cheaper than the equivalent original XL version.

Works fine on my HP Officejet 8740.
Minor niggle: printer shows ink level as empty and complains - but this is a problem with the printer & HP trying to push their products. I can live with this.
Had previously tried & failed with a similar product from a well-known marketplace.
