Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding inks for my Epson stylus pro 7600. Firstly, how compatible are they with the Epson ink currently in the printer system? Some inks have been known to react badly and result in precipitation and clogged nozzles. Secondly do they have to be replaced in any particular order, for example Lyson recommend that the magenta is replaced first, which is not a lot of use if the cyan runs out first. Lastly, I only use 7 inks in my printer, the matte black never gets used so I only require the other 7 but your system doesn't seem to let me customise this amount. Do I have to buy ink Ill never use?
From a compatibility perspective a third party cartridge is usually engineered to run alongside other compatible cartridges of the same brand however we haven't experienced any issues with customers using these alongside genuine Epson cartridges and additionally we can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to swap over the cartridge that runs out rather than a specific colour first of all.
