Designed for convenience, the AM255 includes a Roger Beep Tone to signal when transmission is complete and a Call Alert for incoming calls. 

For extended use, the radios feature power-saver circuitry to maximise battery life and come equipped with rechargeable NiMH batteries and a Micro-USB cable for charging.
