Thank you for answering my previous question.1: Accepted AnswerHi, many thanks for the message, the standard capacity PGI-550 cartridge has a capacity of 15ml, whilst the CLI-551 cartridge have 7ml. For the High Capacity cartridges, the PGI-550XL Black holds 22ml and the CLI-551XL colours 11ml each.

Which black cartridge for me ? Have Canon Pixma MG6450. Pse advise which black cartridge I need. Both appear v.alike.1: Accepted AnswerYour Canon Pixma MG6450 actually requires both the PGI-550 & CLI-551 black cartridge to be installed for it to operate. If a particular one needs changing your printer/printer software will identify it to you with one of these codes.

Pixma mg 6450 This cartridge appears to be thicker than the other cartridges in my pixma. It has the number c550xl bk Is that the one for my printer? Check my order and amend it if necessary. Thanks1: Accepted AnswerThe 550 and 550xl are different capacity cartridges, the xl is thicker but still fits in the printer

Apart from the original Canon cartridges supplied with the printer, I've only bought cartridges from Refresh Cartridges. They were recommended by Which? magazine and I think the quality is very good.
