This remanufactured PG540XL cartridge replaces both the Canon PG-540 standard capacity and PG-540XL high capacity Canon ink cartridge. The remanufactured 540XL is filled with 21ml of high quality compatible black ink which is guaranteed to offer exceptional quality prints.

Your warranty with us is three years however we would typically recommend in order to avoid having a slightly higher failure rate that you typically order based on installing them within a year of purchase.

Any problems I have not used compatible cartridges is there things i need to watch out for when using Yours Dave Buckley1: Accepted AnswerThere is one small idiosyncrasy with these cartridges which causes the cartridges to show as empty when installed. This is quite normal with remanufactured cartridges and is caused as the electronic chip which counts the number of pages printed cannot be reset when the cartridges is remanufactured. In Canon printers you will receive this message when the cartridge is first installed, when this occurs, hold down the STOP / RESUME / RESET button (a triangle inside a circle, usually a Green or Red button) for 5-10 seconds and you'll find the printer accepts the cartridges, resets the ink level and will allow you to print as normal.
