Breather hole Hi I have replaced one of my cartridges previous brands had a breather hole. Ive removed part of the covering tape but the hole is closed up. Should I open up this hole?. These are an incredibly reliable cartridge, so you shouldn't get any faulties!

Canon will always recommend using their own inks, but I'm pleased to say that Which? Magazine have recommended our inks on numerous occasions, so I'm sure you will get a good quality print using our cartridges.

Shelf life of cartridges Hi, how long can you keep the cartridges before they start to dry out?1: Accepted AnswerGenerally speaking, the shelf life for cartridges is as long as required, as long as they are kept away from heat sources and direct sunlight. As these don't have a printhead in the cartridge (due to it being contained within the printer itself) there isn't much that can dry up. We do generally recommend using cartridges within 6 months of purchase and also to try printing weekly to ensure that your printer doesn't dry up.

1. There are 2 different versions and until I texted for help, (which was very helpful) the instructions for installing those without a removable tag were not clear.
2. I chose Refresh because the Which Guide placed you first in the list of suppliers of compatibles.
3. I have to say that I don't think that your cartridges last as long as the Think versions that I bought for years from Choice before they went into administration.
