The Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 is a flagship double-tower CPU air cooler engineered to deliver immense cooling performance with virtually inaudible operation, making it excellent for heavily overclocked systems and demanding workstations.
This cooler boasts an exceptional cooling capacity of 270W TDP, suitable for the highest-performing CPUs. Heat is efficiently managed by seven high-performance copper heat pipes and a heatsink coated in a special black ceramic coating for perfect heat transfer. It uses a dual-fan configuration featuring two virtually inaudible Silent Wings PWM fans (120mm front, 135mm middle) with Fluid Dynamic Bearings and 6-pole motors.
A key feature is the integrated Speed Switch located on the heatsink, which allows users to instantly switch between Quiet Mode (max 1500 RPM on the middle fan) for normal use, and Performance Mode (max 2000 RPM on the middle fan) to unleash its full 270W cooling power. The design prioritises compatibility, featuring a height-adjustable front fan and generous heat sink cut-outs for high RAM and VRM cooler clearance. Installation is simplified via a detachable magnetic mesh top cover and a pre-installed black mounting bridge.
