I see its passive. So from where could the power come from ?1 - Accepted AnswerA Microfilter essentially just splits the frequency of your line. This allows your broadband to use one frequency and your phone calls to use another, meaning both can be used at the same time. The microfilter stops interference on both your phone calls and internet connection.
All Microfilters are passive however and don't require power (other than the couple of volts which are carried down the phone line)
