A Hive Tyrant anchors the force, maintaining a powerful link to the Hive Mind and coordinating the swarm as a single, devastating organism. A Lictor and a unit of Von Ryan's Leapers race ahead to harry the enemy and eliminate high-priority targets, while Tyranid Warriors, Termagants, and Hormagaunts flood the battlefield with bodies, seizing objectives and leaving your opponent with an impossible number of threats to deal with. Together, this force is relentless, terrifying to face, and surges forward as one unstoppable tide.

What's in the box?

This set builds 30 multipart plastic miniatures:

Customisation Options

Every kit in this set offers a wealth of build options. The Hive Tyrant can be armed with two scything talons, a heavy venom cannon, a stranglethorn cannon, or a bonesword and lash whip, with biomorph upgrades including adrenal glands and toxin sacs. It can alternatively be built as a soaring Winged Hive Tyrant or the dreaded Swarmlord.

The Lictor comes with two head options and is extensively poseable, with interchangeable legs, clawed arms, and scenic basing elements. Articulated joints in the neck and scything talons allow for further adjustment, letting you extend or retract every element of its bladed limbs.

The Tyranid Warriors offer a staggering arsenal to choose from, including lash whips, spinefists, devourers, rending claws, scything talons, deathspitters, boneswords, a venom cannon, a barbed strangler, and flesh hooks. The kit also includes components to designate one as a Tyranid Prime, complete with its own chest plate, head and crest, shoulder guards, and optional scythed tail. Adrenal glands and toxin sacs can be added across the whole unit, and four different Warrior face options are included.

The Hormagaunts can be assembled in multiple poses across a variety of head designs. The Termagants can be armed with fleshborers, devourers, or paired spinefists, with three specialist weapon options also available – a shardlauncher, a spike rifle, and a strangleweb.
