For a staggering ten thousand years, Mortarion, the Lord of the Death Guard, has ruthlessly crushed his foes on the grim battlefield. Enveloped by chittering Daemon mites, droning flies, and the putrid fumes of plague, Mortarion descends into battle on vast, creaking wings. The ominous beat of these foul pinions not only instils crawling dread in the enemy but also carries the unmistakable stench of death across their ranks. Mere proximity to the Death Lord proves lethal, opponents choking and collapsing as they succumb to the myriad plagues swirling in the air around him.

This multi-part plastic kit includes all the components needed to bring to life Mortarion, the Daemon Primarch of Nurgle. This model is nothing short of towering, defying the conventional scale of the term "miniature" as he dominates over the rest of the Death Guard, even garnering the attention of formidable entities like Bloodthirsters. Adorned in the baroque power armour known as the Barbaran Plate ??? corroded, rusted, and embellished with skulls, spikes, and Nurgle symbolism ??? Mortarion exudes an aura of decay and malevolence. Moldering robes, chains, and a putrid cowl drape from the armour, partially concealing the intricate system of pipes that connect to his breathing apparatus. It is safe to assume that this ventilator is not delivering fresh air but rather vile spores and diseases.

Mortarion wields two foul weapons: Silence, a colossal scythe with razor-sharp, rusting chain-teeth stained with the blood of worlds, capable of severing even a Reaver Titan; and The Lantern, an ancient energy pistol. The kit offers two modeling options for these weapons ??? one with the weapons down by Mortarion`s side and the other in a more aggressive pose.

The Daemon Primarch features immense, decaying wings, riddled with pockmarks, holes, and tears, mirroring the horror and decay emblematic of Nurgle`s hordes. Additional components include Nurgling Drones carrying phosphex bombs hanging from the chains on Mortarion`s armour, with three more on the base, each engaged in different nefarious activities. The base itself is intricately detailed, with rocks tainted by the malevolent presence of the Daemon Primarch.
