The StarTech 2m (6ft) Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.2 Adapter Cable (MDP2DPMM6) is a high-performance, durable cable designed to connect a Mini DisplayPort-equipped device to a standard DisplayPort monitor, supporting high-resolution 4K video.
This 2m (6.6ft) cable supports DisplayPort v1.2 with a maximum HBR2 bandwidth of 21.6 Gbps, enabling high-resolution video up to 4K x 2K (3840 x 2160) at 60Hz or 2560 x 1600 at 120Hz. It provides full support for 8-channel audio, Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for daisy-chaining, and GTC (Global Time Code) for precise audio timing. The cable is built for reliability, featuring durable ABS connectors with flexible PVC strain relief to prevent damage from bending.
It uses 32 AWG gold-plated connectors and superior Al-Mylar foil and copper braid shielding for enhanced signal integrity and EMI protection. The standard DisplayPort end features a latching connector to prevent accidental disconnection. The cable is also compatible with Thunderbolt ports on newer devices and is backwards compatible with DP 1.1.
