The StarTech 2m (6ft) DisplayPort 1.2 Cable (DISPL2M) is a VESA certified, high-performance cable designed to provide a secure and reliable 4K video connection between DisplayPort-equipped devices.
This cable supports DisplayPort v1.2, offering superior performance with a maximum HBR2 bandwidth of 21.6 Gbps. It is capable of supporting high resolutions up to 4K x 2K (4096 x 2160) at 60Hz and features support for 8-channel audio and Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for daisy-chaining multiple monitors. The cable is VESA certified and built for durability, using 28 AWG gold-plated connectors for improved signal integrity.
Its durable ABS connectors include latching mechanisms that prevent accidental disconnection, while the flexible PVC jacket and strain relief protect the cable core from fraying and damage. Superior Al-Mylar foil and copper braid shielding provide high-quality video/audio by reducing EMI. The cable is also backwards compatible with DP 1.1 and ensures proper display of protected content with both HDCP and DPCP capability.
