My drive won't record at full speed on a supplied disc

This is usually due to your drive not being fully compatible with the specific disc that we have supplied. This is fairly common and can usually be solved by doing a firmware update. Instructions on how to do this are shown below.

Firmware is computer code that`s built in to a drive which tells it how to operate. As new products continue to come to market the manufacturers update the firmware in order to improve the reliability and compatibility of their drives.
