Citadel contrast paints, like Ultramarines Blue, have been designed to speed up the painting process substantially. When you apply Ultramarines Blue over a model primed with Grey Seer or Wraith Bone, it runs immediately into folds and crevices giving tonnes of colour variation.
The Ultramarines Blue Citadel contrast paint is a great alternative to the classic method of base coating, shading and highlighting, giving you fantastic results in a single coat. You can even add great variety to the results produced with Ultramarines Blue by thinning with contrast medium or even applying over already painted surfaces.
