The Astra Militarum protect the Imperium with an enormous range of units – from thundering artillery and armoured vehicles to vast waves of infantry. This action-packed box is the perfect way to start or expand your Astra Militarum collection, and represents a significant saving compared to purchasing the kits individually.

At the heart of the force stands a steely Commissar, keeping the troops in line and their loyalty unquestioned. The infantry core includes a Cadian Command Squad and 10 Cadian Shock Troops, backed up by 2 Field Ordnance Teams for fire support. Rounding out the force are a Basilisk and a Rogal Dorn Battle Tank, bringing devastating firepower capable of handling whatever your opponent sends across the table. Together, these units form a balanced, hard-hitting army that can hold objectives and weather the fiercest of assaults.

Customisation Options

Every kit in this set offers a wealth of build options. The Commissar can be armed with a chainsword or a power sword, each paired with a wrist-mounted power pack.

The Cadian Shock Troops are armed with lasguns and frag grenades, led by a Sergeant who can be built with a drum-fed autogun or a chainsword paired with a laspistol or bolt pistol. Specialist weapon options include a flamer, grenade launcher, meltagun, and plasma gun, alongside a vox-caster. Cosmetic choices are plentiful too, with over 20 head options, sandbags, combat knives, spare helmets, bedrolls, and more.

The Cadian Command Squad centres on a Commander who can be equipped with a choice of pistol and close combat weapon – including a laspistol, bolt pistol, or plasma pistol, paired with a chainsword, power sword, or power fist. Four Veteran Guardsmen accompany them: a field medic, a vox operator, a bodyguard, and a standard bearer, each with their own weapon and equipment options. The bodyguard and standard bearer can alternatively be built as weapons specialists. Additional cosmetic details such as magnoculars, slung weapons, standard finials, and varied heads and bases let you make the squad truly your own.

Each Field Ordnance Team consists of a gunner and two spotters or loaders, and can be built around one of three heavy weapon options: a malleus rocket launcher, a bombast field gun, or a heavy lascannon. The crew offers 12 head options and a range of arms, poses, and accessories, while the gun carriage features flexible assembly with pivoting legs or the option to build it closed.

The Basilisk can be upgraded with a dozer blade, hunter-killer missile, and armoured tracks. Its cannon is assembled without glue so you can adjust the angle of fire at will. A rear firing platform includes a gunner with head and arm options, and the vehicle can be further personalised with bedrolls, entrenching tools, a spotlight, spare fuel, and more.

The Rogal Dorn Battle Tank offers extensive weapon configurations. The main turret can be armed with twin battle cannons or an oppressor cannon with coaxial autocannon, while the hull mounts either a castigator gatling cannon or a pulveriser cannon. Optional sponsons carry heavy bolters or multi-meltas, and forward mounts can be fitted with heavy stubbers or meltaguns. Three crew members – a spotter, a tank officer, and a heavy stubber gunner – can be built with five head options each, or replaced with closed hatches.
