The ground shakes before they arrive. By the time the enemy hears the clatter of tracks and the hammering of heavy guns, it is already too late to form a coherent response. An Astra Militarum armoured infantry division doesn't simply fight — it overwhelms, seizing objectives with armoured aggression, shoring up faltering lines, and exploiting every crack in the enemy's defence before they have a chance to seal it.

What's in the Box

This loaded boxed set is an ideal starting point for a new Astra Militarum collection, or a substantial expansion for an existing force — and represents a significant saving compared to purchasing the kits individually.

At its core is the Rogal Dorn Battle Tank, one of the most formidable platforms in the Imperial arsenal, built to dismantle whatever the enemy considers their toughest units. Flanking it, a pair of Hippogriff AFVs provide speed, board control, and versatile fire support, each capable of being configured for a very different battlefield role. A Centaur RSV rounds out the armoured element, delivering a unit of Cadian Shock Troops precisely where the fighting is thickest — the kind of intervention that can shift the balance of an engagement in a single turn.

Taken together, these models represent an Armoured Infantry Detachment, the rules for which can be found in Armageddon: The Return of Yarrick — Detachments, available separately.

Customisation

There is enormous flexibility across every kit in this set.

Each Hippogriff AFV can be configured with one of four turret-mounted weapons — a vigilator cannon, a chiron gatling cannon, a melta cannon, or a heavy lascannon — and can also mount a meltagun or heavy stubber, alongside a range of cosmetic options.

The Centaur RSV offers a variety of cosmetic choices, including optional accessories and nine interchangeable crew heads.

The Rogal Dorn Battle Tank has extensive loadout options across every hardpoint. The turret can mount either a twin battle cannon or an oppressor cannon with coaxial autocannon. The hull hardpoint takes either a castigator gatling cannon for anti-infantry work or a pulveriser cannon for engaging enemy armour. Hull-mounted heavy stubbers or meltaguns, side sponsons with heavy bolters or multi-meltas, and hatches that can be built open with crew or closed shut complete the package.

The Cadian Shock Troops sergeant can be armed with an autogun, or a chainsword paired with either a laspistol or bolt pistol. The squad can be equipped with a flamer, grenade launcher, meltagun, plasma gun, and vox-caster, with 20 interchangeable heads and additional cosmetic options rounding things out.
